Am looking for some creative ideas!

I'm planning to create a dedicated play area in my house for my DD (7 months) where she can roll around, make a mess etc. The area is about 6' square. I bought a foam mat for the floor and I have some toys/books to scatter around... but what else can I put in there to make it fun for her??

A ball pit or little tent

Big, childsafe mirror for pulling faces and musical instruments. Simple percussion sets from amazon are not too pricey. I have a 1 year old and 3 year old and they both play with instruments daily!

Ooh good ideas! I've found a xylophone and tambourine for her on amazon

Definitely a ball pit. We used a cheap as paddling pool filled with balls when DD was a baby and she absolutely loved it.

Thermal, foil blanket (type they give out at marathons).

Water bottles full of sequins, beads etc with the lids glued on. Water or oil with food colouring is good too.

Those balls that light up when thrown.

Coloured scarfs.

Fairy lights (up high).
