Will this flooring work and look good?

We are decorating our hall and stairs and have chosen a stair carpet with a fine blue/grey stripe in it..I want the ground floor to be tiled as I live in a household with muddy boys in it. I think I need a neutral colour to avoid a clash with flooring in the rooms that lead off hallway. So have chosen a pale wood look tile.
I wanted to put a rectangular inlay of a different tile to make it more interesting. Like these blue tiles. Do you think a tiler would hate me?? And will it look good or not? Thank you for your opinions!

I love the tiles but I don't personally think they go with the carpet, I think it'd look too busy. That said, it's just personal preference, and you should have your house how you want it. Love the wood effect tiles by the way.

Have a big untiled space at the front of your hall where you can insert a large coconut mat, which won't move. This will save your nice tiles from the mud.

How about a border of the fancy tiles outlining the shape of your hall rather than a section of those tiles? Or a border of the dark version of your wooden ones.
