How can I make this stylish...

Boring Ikea cabinet, what can I put either side to make it look more stylish? We have blue and grey living room, with splashes of yellow, if that helps. I've added pics of that too. I'm hopeless at this sort of thing!

Is the lamp meant to be permanently in front of that art? Can't clearly see what's going on in the pic. But if you had room I'd do lamp on one side, art and maybe a large plant on the other. I wouldn't leave anything on the IKEA cabinet except the tv.

Sorting the cables out behind the tv would be a start that's making me feel funny just looking at it

I agree with moving lamp or art so you can see pic properly.
