I have some of the ceiling roses which are fantastic.

I'm thinking of buying some wall lights and a multi pendant, which are a lot more money than even John Lewis, but I am guessing they are fab quality.

I could get similar type things at ocean lighting for a quarter of the price though! I am on a budget, but want to go for good quality where I can.

Watching with interest - just bought some brass curtain poles & fittings and so impressed with the quality, I'd like to save up for lights to match!

Why don't you start off with their Clearance section? there are bargains in there - I'm always checking ;)

I think they are great, they’re often heavy though so worth making sure your walls/ceilings can support them.

They are expensive but aren’t comparable to mass market stuff sold by John Lewis etc. They are more directly comparable quality wise to Holloway’s of Ludlow (and Jim L’s prices compare favourably).

It depends on the kind of house you have really, I think if you have a period house with high quality fittings throughout, then Jim L is perfect. However, IMO, it is probably overkill in an average 3 bed semi.
