We’ve recently become the proud owners of a lovely church pew. Can anyone help on how to restore it? I think I’d like to keep it stained rather than paint it but would prefer a lighter stain than what it has now. Do I just sand it back and restain or does it need some kind of stain removal chemical on it? Sorry if I’m being abit vague, I really have no idea what to do.
