Forgot the mist coat :(

I'm such an idiot

Part of my lounge has been replastered (damp problems) and I've been merrily painting the walls today and completely forgot the mist coat in that area. What can I do to remedy the situation now? It looks okay and was thoroughly dry (done 6 weeks ago). It's had one coat.

I can't imagine you can do anything to fix it now. I would wait and see. You might get away with it.

We did this with our entire dining room. Turned out fine, though we had to put more coats on than usual to get an even colour.
