What colour wall paint for these tiles?

New build half tiled bathroom. Dh wants something light but it’s north facing so pure white looks quite dowdy.

They are a warm beige with a darker beige faux marble vein.

When I moved into this house the bathroom had tiles like that with white walls, and I hated it. I painted the walls a warm taupey grey and it looks much better. Accessories/towels are either burnt orange or mustard yellow.

Might also look good with a sage or olive green?

Similar to mine and I'm north facing too. I've gone with F&B pointing.

I’ve always like pointing. The fireplace was meant to be pointing but Dh bought James white by accident.

Good ceiling colour too.

Ooh they are tricky! Would sage work?

Fluffycloudland77 · 17/03/2018 19:37

Yes but it’s north facing. Every time a house comes up for sale on the road I check what bathroom tiles they got and no ones got faux marble except us.

They’ve all got ceramic neutral.

Great.

I genuinely think whoever chose our tiles and kitchen was pissed. There’s no other rational explanation.

Next door have a lovely kitchen and are basically dirty so and so’s who don’t look after it.
