Recently taken delivery of a Julian Bowen Papplewick single bed. It was meant to be 'stone white' but in the house actually looks very yellow-creamy (which I don't like). The finish on the bed is not shiny, it's quite a rough powder-coated finish.
I'd like to paint it a different colour and have a tin of mid-grey oil-based eggshell hanging around. Would I be able to paint the bed with the eggshell without priming? Any tips? Thanks!
