We've had our cheeky offer accepted on an old cottage that needs a lot of TLC.

I'm getting caught up planning my new (potentially non existent) bathroom.

Give me things to drool over...

Ah, you've posted both my favourite images already (the first mint green subway tiles and the grey subway tiles). Love them!

Still no idea what I'll end up with for mine, but as of right now this second, I think the grey subway tiles have the edge...

Me he's being done in two weeks, I have everything except for the tiles so need to order those ASAP!

I'm going for black and white, with chequerboard flooring and wooden panelling around the bottom half of the walls.

I've got a white roll top bath with black claw feet, a black vanity unit with a white basin and chrome taps, traditional toilet with black lid, and for the shower I have a freestanding thing that sits over the edge of the bath and has a curtain rail attached and the bath taps too, all in chrome.

Also have a big chandelier to go in there, I can't wait for it to be done!

I originally wanted a shower room but I couldn't find anything I liked (not keen on modern stuff) and I love baths, would've had no shower but dp loves his showers so can't go without one.Smile

I've got a thing for green at the minute.

Your roll too bath sounds beautiful, frank.

The bathroom is quite large with a feature fireplace. So I was thinking walk on shower in one corner, next to a free standing bath. Raise the bath and shower up on a tiled stage/step. And then wooden or wood effect floors around the sink, toilet and fireplace.

Slate floor and maybe a splash of colour on the walls.

Ah, that last one, with the slate walls and floors, is stunning!

BathtubPorn · 08/03/2018 23:00

It feels a bit too modern for our cottage (totally not our cottage yet)!!

Ah - no, it doesn't exactly scream 'period property' does it? And while I love it, I'm not sure it will translate to our tiny ensuite, or give enough personality to our boxy (relatively) new build without the amazing bath and walk-in shower that I can't fit in to the room.
