Advice on redecorating bedroom

Specifically wallpaper, A throw for the end of the bed, accessories and maybe some artwork for the wall.

Bedding is white, Bedside lamps and curtains are pale grey, Drawers are (going to be) black-brown malm units from ikea.

I really like the wallpaper below, I think the dark units will look good against it, But I'm not sold on it.

I’m not sure that the wallpaper goes with Malms. The wallpaper looks more girly/traditional whereas Malms are very square modern and simple. I’d probably choose a more geometric or abstract pattern.

I have the malm units you describe. I really like the purple version of the one you've linked to. I'm redecorating soon and am considering this. It's hard isn't it?

I've been at this for 2 days and can't pick a wallpaper!!
I feel I can't really choose any other bits and bobs until I know what my wall is going to look like.

Plus, Just discovered that ikea have discontinued one of the units I was going to buy :(

I've just bought this one!
I still need to get cushions, accessories etc

and paint, the other walls will need painted as they are currently new build magnolia. Anyone have any ideas on paint colours?

I love that wallpaper in the yellow, however I don't think Malm would be the right furniture for it. Have you looked at the hemnes bedside cabinet? I think that hemnes in white would be more sympathetic to pretty (rather than geometric) wallpaper.

I actually really like the original wallpaper your chose, though I agree with LittleWing that hemnes would probably be better from a style standpoint. Have the units already been purchased? We have the hemnes black/brown bedside tables and they're great for storage.

We already have the malm units, The hemnes are lovely and more my style but have to work with what I already have :(

Am thinking about adding some mustard coloured cushions or something!
