Hey guys,

I am new here and I can't seem to find any threads that can help with my bedroom remodel. I have some issues with making everything work out.

Could you please help me with this? I want the bedroom to be soothing and perfect for sleeping, but I also want it to feel spacious enough because it's not very big.

Thank you! :)

To make it look more spacious use a divan bed + wall mounted headboard instead of a bed frame. And think how few pieces you can get away with to still be able to walk around the bed comfortably (perhaps only a wardrobe + bedside tables?).

To get the feel right, have a look on Houzz or Pinterest to identify what colour combinations, materials and textures give you the right vibe.

Hey JoJoSM2 thank you so much for the advice and ideas. :) I will make sure to browse these two sites and find something. :)

However, I was also think about knocking down one of the walls so I can merge my bedroom with the near small guest room. But, I am not sure where to start!

I did some digging and I have found some architects in Melbourne. They look like they provide the right services, but before I engage in any business with them, can you tell me if you have experience with them (I don't know where you are from)? Or do you have any other experience with any other architects or a similar remodel at your home? :)

I appreciate any kind of help, thank you so so much!

As you said the room is not so big, I would suggest keeping it simple as you can. This will make it more spacious and comfortable. You can also try out these ideas for your room makeover: powerandlightkc-blog.tumblr.com/post/162158011299/5-amazing-tips-to-turn-your-boring-bedroom-into-a-luxuri

I think you would be better off on Houzz. Its a dedicated interiors site and if you post on their design dilemma forum including pictures then some of us will come over and help you.

Houzz has a design dilemma forum??? I’ve been using Houzz for years and years and never knew that... see you over there!
