Will a light coloured sofa with washable covers survive a playroom?!

I've finally found a sofa small enough for the space in the playroom that has washable covers, but the only colours available are light colours. Do you think the stains will actually come out or am I just being silly for even considering a light colour?

Maybe not, but you might be able to dye the covers a darker colour. Alternatively, get a couple of cheap throws to protect it.
