Need help please!!

Wanting to decorate the house friday, but not a clue what colour to paint it!I've had things in mind but then decided I didn't want it. !so.. living room... we have corona furniture. And a dark brown and light brown suite. Carpet is a black/grey. Curtains plack/grey/silver. Buying a new rug to go with paint.

Room connects to stairs so it would have to go all the way up the stairs and to the landing.

Kitchen: grey/black tiles on back. White& black tiles on half wall. Black side tops. Wooden cupboards. Wooden table. White washing machine/fridge etc.

Please someone help. I'm so so going crazy.

Forgot to mention we don't want cream. Or white. It's currently cream and has been for years so wanting to add some colour.

I'd go with a warm light grey in the living room, possibly just on the beige side of grey. The kitchen can be bolder, there are some beautiful greens which would work well.

A soft light blue is another option for the living room.
