Where did you buy your carpet from and/or what make is it?

Following on from my last thread I am now on the hunt for the perfect beige carpet to go everywhere.

I've been steered towards Cormar Home Counties in the carpet shop I went into this morning. No idea if that's a good option though. Any suggestions?

I'd offer a Wine but I'd rather not risk it around the new carpet. Smile

I've just gone for a range by a company called Elements, found it in John Lewis and had to have it. My local carpet guy has managed to buy direct slightly cheaper but its still pricey. He did say I've made an excellent choice with the quality though

I bought ours from John Lewis, and fitted by them - 100% wool, which promptly got chewed up by moths, so don't get 100% wool.

We have Cormar Living Naturals throughout our upstairs and I would highly recommend it. I've just looked on their website though and it doesn't appear that they do it any more. It's a loop pile with a mixture of wool and polypropylene iirc, so I'm sure they have an equivalent. We had Cormar carpets image previous rented flat and they stood up excellently to 7 years of heavy footfall.
