Hillary’s Vs local independent shutter company

Getting shutters at the front of our house - yes I am a sheep.

Had a quote from a local chap and Hillary’s.
Price difference was just under £300.
I know I should support local businesses but £300 is £300!

Anyone used Hillary’s? Good/bad/ugly?

Why don't you see if local person can match Hillary's price. I'm sure they'd rather have the chance than just miss out.

Our local independent curtain and wallpaper has a sign saying they will endeavour to price match a genuine quote. I would go back and ask, can't hurt.

Already tried that approach and was told no- appreciate they haven’t got the scale of a national company

I have had no problems with my Hilarys blinds. Had them about 5 years.
