Fake flowers

Does anyone have a good website for good, realistic looking fake flowers? I've had a look in dunelm and the local garden centres but they look a bit naff and aren't that cheap.

I can't spend £££ but would like them to be as realistic as possible!

Peony faux flowers are lovely, I’ve attached a photo of one of the arrangements I have. They’re not really cheap but QVC sell them and sometimes offer payments in instalments.

ikea

I have some from Sarah Raven. But they are more foliage. Very realistic though!

TK Maxx are surprisingly good Smile

Bloom uk are lovely, but they are not cheap.

LillianGish · 11/02/2018 16:54

I've got a surprisingly realistic orchid from Ikea - so realistic in fact that dh hasn't noticed it is not real yet! Not normally a fan of fake flowers, but this one is great.

I bought some fake white peonies from Amazon which I'm quite pleased with. Think they were under £10 for 5 large peonies, on Prime.

Oh Chester the peony faux flowers are gorgeous!
Will check the other suggestions out now - thanks all 😊

Must they be flowers? I have one set of fake flowers that I like, but many fake succulents that DH hasn't noticed are fake yet. He's even been shooing the cats away from them.

holightssmolights · 12/02/2018 19:42

I hadn't thought tbh Gummy. I'm the worlds least green fingered person ever so I think as long as not real id try anything!

It's easier to find realistic fake succulents than flowers!

StrikingMatches · 13/02/2018 15:14

Neptune if you have one near you, or the Cox and Cox website.

prettymess · 13/02/2018 15:18

Tk maxx often have nice ones.

DS has ASD and hates flowers. I’ve gone for some very unrealistic ones in the kitchen.

Ikea. We have a bunch of fake ivy / pot plants / bamboo plus some flowers from there because I am spectacularly good at killing real plants.

I'd definitely suggest going for a look if there's one near you, I think it is much harder to judge the appearance online than in person. Most of the Ikea plants I have were about £6-10 each.

holightssmolights · 14/02/2018 21:45

I live in the arse end of nowhere 😂
I'm about 6hrs away from an IKEA and 1 1/2hr from TK maxx.

I'll need to have a look the next time I'm near civilisation!

I'm relatively new to the whole home decor thing and am really enjoying it!

Sainsburys do lovely ones,

HolyShmoly · 26/02/2018 21:11

I like Country Baskets. I do prefer to see and touch them IRL though to get a better idea, but I appreciate that might not be possible.

bilbodog · 27/02/2018 13:27

Oka direct do some

WellTidy · 27/02/2018 21:17

M and s have a new range out. They come in a vase included in the price. Not cheap, but a lovely selection. There are 20% off codes valid on home stuff from tomorrow.

Orchardgreen · 28/02/2018 09:24

Neptune!

Agree that Sainsbury's are good, and reasonably priced.

extinctspecies · 28/02/2018 18:16

I saw some surprisingly nice ones in Sainsbury's today. Advertised as hyacinths but I thought they were more hydrangea like. In a glass bottle.

Henrysmycat · 03/03/2018 19:51

A couple of nice ones (tkmaxx has some really good ones) and a few real twigs like curly willows or birch will blend the lines between fake and real and nobody would know.

CapricornWithAUnicornHorn · 03/03/2018 20:26

Poundland's fake flowers are actually amazing. I was looking for small plant pots to grow some cress and came across them, I now have three vases dotted around my house and they all look way way more expensive than a couple of quid! Quite a lot of variety too. They also do lovely vases which would cost you upwards of £10 in any other shop.
