What floor tiles for my bathroom

I have bought these for my en suite and also a bathroom chandelier and a traditional close coupled toilet with a black toilet seat.

I was thinking a traditional chequerboard flooring like the third pic but will it be too much? Any other suggestions?

I am thinking around the bottom half of the walls I might get wooden cladding like the one seen behind the vanity unit, maybe painted grey, with white walls?

Window will have white shutters and all fittings will be chrome, and will have a freestanding shower tap thing with a curtain rail attached, an also looking for tasteful shower curtain, but that's probably a whole other thread

I would stay away from the chequered floor, only as it may take the 'shine' away from the gorgeous statement pieces you have chosen..

Maybe go for something similar to the floor in the bath image? Great choices though OP, it will look fab! x

Thanks, I hope so, this is the last room in the house that needs doing and I've been putting it off because I couldn't decide what I wanted and how traditional I wanted to go.

The floor in the bath pic is nice but I think it might be too modern? I know what you mean though, and it's not a huge space, I'm going to have to have another browse I think!
