Boho chic style

I'm asking for some advice. Originally had all Ikea furniture when we moved into our house 10 years ago as it was cheap and all matched etc. Style has evolved since then and I'm craving a boho chic type look. What would be the key elements or must-haves to pull together a boho chic lounge and dining area?

TIA

Not quite sure about what boho chic looks like, but have you tried searching for that hashtag on Instagram? Loads of fantastic interior pics on there.

Matalan have a gorgeous range of black and white and brown accessories in nice, natural materials at the moment...not sure if that's the type of thing you're after.

Do you know about jungalow? You'll find it on Pinterest and Instagram and think there's a website.
All about plants, patterns and colour. I love the stuff.

I have this book... I love it and use it as inspiration to remove IKEA from my home, though not completely, I still have a few rugs and the children's rooms will keep their Expedit Shelves.

I have some old shelves, some recovered sofas and arm chairs, wooden chests and travelling trunks, mismatched chairs in the dining area, colourful rugs and warm colours on the walls.... lots of dark wood and green paint.

I am still searching for shelves for my kitchen...
