You might have found them somewhere in the 1970s

Throughtheforest · 03/02/2018 19:00

I like them too. Why do things have to be in fashion?

borlottibeans · 03/02/2018 19:05

No idea where to get the tiles from but I think that's gorgeous. I wish I owned my house and could do something like this.

But then my pride and joy is a hot pink rug with badly drawn owls on it so I accept that my taste is not exactly standard.

100YearsOfVote · 05/02/2018 22:39

I love them OP!!

Katurah · 06/02/2018 05:35

Thanks - I love those orange ones too! I think Johnson's is the place. I'd found the grey ones but can't find the blue/blush colour way but prefer the orange to be honest! I love hexagons.

I'd love to see the bathrooms of the people on here that have felt so free to berate my taste. I'd love to cast my opinion and to see how much it matters to you....

I think it looks great! Who wants a boring white bathroom?! We were on the first U2L show. People loved being nasty about our taste. I don't care what others think!

TheClitterati · 06/02/2018 07:31

If it's not rectangle tiles and either white, grey or fucking duck egg blue it will "date" op.

Decorate your bathroom in neutrals now so I'm 10 or more years when you sell your home potential buyers won't be offended that someone once had personal style. Like most on MN do.

You can buy direct from Johnstone's - they don't have everything available at the factory store and check it's first quality before you buy.

They do remind me of Blockbusters...

Mammasmitten · 07/02/2018 15:59

I love these tiles, very artistic. Who cares if they become dated in the future or thinking about reselling in the future. It's your home and it's way more important that it reflects your taste and you enjoy living there.

Bluntness100 · 08/02/2018 10:58

I have to say you're hugely sensitive about your taste in bathroom tiles. Really is it that big of a deal to you if we think that bathroom was the before ?

Talk about. Sweating the small stuff. 🤪
