How do you do it?!
I do not understand - one room at a time?! What about beds and wardrobes?! They will have to be dismantled.
Our carpets really need changing but just the thought of having to deal with all that makes me panic!

I needed to do landing, hall, stairs, dining room and lounge all at once in the same carpet. I went to a local independent carpet shop explained ehat I wanted (underlay, gripper and carpet). They moved furniture, removed old carpet, underlay and grippers. Laid new and put furniture back. I think local independent shops are more inclined to do these extras as they employ their own fitters where as some where like carpetright sub contract.

Thanks Cantspell2
tbh that sounds more doable, is the beds and massive wardrobes that worry me!
But I will check the local shops, thanks

Carpetright fitters will move up to 5 pieces of large empty furniture per room. I'm getting 7 bedrooms a landing and stairs done next weekSmile
