Table help!

I need an idea for a table that takes up no room! One that folds down from the wall maybe, or comes down from the ceiling!

Would like something cool and sturdy. It's to fit into a small but trendy apartment. To seat 3 or 4.

TIA if anyone has any links or product names.

I don't know if this would take up too much space for what you want but we had a great butterfly folding table where the chairs go inside the table. Ours was black and silver but you can get all sorts of looks.

This is ours: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0734W5Z95/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?ref=plSrch&keywords=butterfly+folding+table+and+chairs&dpPl=1&dpID=51lvt754iGL&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&tag=mumsnetforum-21&ie=UTF8&qid=1517017003&sr=8-4 although it was definitely cheaper than that!
If this is not small enough then Ikea have tables that food out from the wall and you can hang the chairs on the wall too.

Just google folding dining table. Loads come up.

Thanks both. Sorry, didn't really explain well. I don't want just a folding table. I want something fitted. We had a folding one and it was a pain with LO, it just kept falling down when put away.

This sort of thing, but this one is silly money and not in the UK.

That's awesome Grin so do you want it completely detachable from the wall? Maybe a carpenter could design something?

mumpoints · 27/01/2018 02:24

If there was a way to keep it attached to the wall and fold down, it would be better because I'm not that strong. But a fold down larger table doesn't seem feasible.

I was thinking you could get a quote for a carpenter/joiner for something like this

Triskaidekaphilia Wow that would be perfect! Might have to move a wall light but that'a not a problem.

Will start investigating. Thank you.

Those legs would have to lock. Imagine a fully laden table and the two front legs collapsing lol!

Best way would be to find a carpenter like the others have said. My cousin is a carpenter and he designed and made something very similar for their house. Ikea do do a wall mounted folding table but it's not very big. www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/tables/dining-tables/wall-mounted-tables/
