Kingsize bed ..

So I'm moving at the end of the month, I want to get a kingsize bed, I have one in mind but the mattress is like a crazy price and I really want to invest in it. Could I use my current double mattress on a king size frame in the interim and save up to invest in a great mattress?

I should mention that keeping the current double frame is out of the question as it won't survive the move!

Is there anyone sharing your bed ?

If it's just you I would be tempted to pull the mattress over to one side...it will only be short by three inches so centre it top and bottom

When we moved we got a larger bed and I love it. The other downside is buying new sheets.
