Cheap thick curtains

Moving into a new flat and looking for some nice thick/lined curtains for the bedroom. Flat is all electric heating which in our previous flat has been FREEZING so trying to combat the cold as best as we can.

Been looking around online but can't seem to find any good quality curtains for a relatively low price, any suggestions on where to look? Preferably less than £50 if possible (seen loads for at least £100 which is just a bit too much at the moment!)

Try terrysfabrics online only but have a very good returns policy.

Ikea do thermal curtains. They're not that thick but are phenomenal at stopping the cold, much better than our triple layer very heavy thick curtains we had previously.

@CatalpaTree never thought about Ikea, I'll pop along during the week!

Dunelm?

IKEA used to do thermal linings that hooked onto the gathering tape of their curtains. Not sure if they still do.

Or you could just attach some matching fleece along the top of the curtain once it's gathered (saves on length) using sticky velcro spots.

If you like matchy stuff www.justlinen.com have very good prices on bedding and fully lined curtains from brands like Dorma or Sanderson.

Couldn't find thermal linings in IKEA, but here's something similar on Amazon. It means you're not limited in your choice of curtain and can remove or wash the linings separately.

Sorry, I tried the first link and it sent you way off!
www.justlinen.co.uk is correct.
