Please help me with lounge decor!

We have just bought our first home. Having rented for 10 plus years and only being able to have creams/magnolia I am desperate to paint/decorate our home.

We have this sofa... the new house needs so much that getting a new sofa is out of the question. However I am kind of sick of the beige/cream so need help in what will go!

It will have wood floors and a rug of some kind!

The hall leading onto the front room is going to be duck egg so nothing that is too similar/clashing with that either.

I'd suggest a pale greige/ taupe colour. Have a look at f and b skimming stone. I have a copy of this in my lounge and accessorize it with duck egg blue so that would tie in really nicely with your hall. I will try to post a pic for you. You could add one or two duck egg cushions to the sofa and a rug with some duck egg and beige for the wooden floor....

Depends what the light is like but of 8t is a nice bright room I would go navy.
