Realise orange & navy sounds a bit dramatic, but it will be a step down from the deep maroon & mauve combo left behind by previous owners! All in the planning stage at present.
It's for our living room. The orange will be Little Greene Paint Company's "Heat", a lovely warm terracotta orange, which will be used on the fireplace wall. The blue (probably a slightly royal shade of navy, aiming for the contrast colour on opposite side of colour wheel to "Heat") will be for sofa & armchair. Other walls pale cream, Dulux Cream Tea, with a creamy oatmeal Berber for the carpet, so the overall effect should be of colour highlights & not too overwhelming, I hope!
I need help with fabric for curtains & cushions to pull the scheme together. I'd been hoping to find a cream/blue/terracotta mix, possibly in ikat, Aztec or other geometric or abstract design as DP not fond of florals. Have looked online at ready made & bespoke curtains in every shop I can think of, as well as Googling fabric warehouse sites, but still cannot find anything.
I didn't think I was being too wacky, but perhaps I am? Can anyone recommend fabrics or other places to hunt? Ideas for a rug in that colour scheme also very welcome!
