Nice shelf

Hi I really want to get some sort of smallish nice but tasteful and interesting shelf for my living room to go on the wall to just put a couple of candles and 'nick-jacks' on. Can anyone please recommend a shop that would do something like this

A nice waney-edge board of an interesting wood always looks nice, and you can pair it with brackets to suit the style of your room. You can pick the timber up from timber mills and sometimes timber merchants, but the last two I bought came from eBay.

What's your style? If you want a modern floating shelf, then Ikea is good for those. A more old fashioned shelf with ornamental brackets can be picked up from B&Q. But yes, you get all the bits separately and a wooden shelves usually come untreated. Finished-look products tend to be of crappier plasticky materials (same as floating shelves for that matter).
