Curtain pole for bay window

Really don't know where to start with getting a curtain pole for a bay window at a reasonable price that is easy to put up and we can get it for this weekend!

DSD coming back from uni and getting new bedding and doing a room rearrange for her to come back, want it cosy and in her favourite colours etc and that includes new curtains!

Any advice appreciated x

We fitted a curtain pole to our bay. It is not easy or cheap. We did it because the room has a lot of original Edwardian features.
It does also depend on the shape of the bay and how many angles the window makes. Ours had 4. The straight poles have to be joined by flexible connections, each supported by two brackets.
After a lot of reasearch we bought the components from John Lewis, the cost was around £300.
There are fitting diagrams on the internet which explain what you need.
We just put a flexible plastic curtain rail in the other bay windowed room, as it had few features, much cheaper!

Go to wilko and get some plastic curtain track.
Easy to put up plus you don’t have the draft coming over the top that you get with poles.

Have just seen your replies, thank you very much. Bottled it in the end, couldn't find any good reviews for any kits for a bay window and we're rubbish at DIY. Went for a pole straight across which I think looks ok because although the bay window goes to the floor it isn't that high. Probably saved ourselves a lot of hassle!

See you're sorted now but dunelm do one - about £60, works with a 3 sided bay. Doesn't have great reviews online but worked fine for us, needed a bit of careful adjusting for the bends but looks great now it's up.
