British bedding on European size bed?

Can you use British sized bedding on a European size mattress?
We live in France and are buying the ikea malm King size bed which is 160 wide. However I'd really like to get a duvet and bedding from the UK as they are generally better value imo.
UK King size is only 150 wide so apart from the fitted sheet, do you think I'd get away with a UK sized duvet and cover?

If not, do you know anywhere that sells good quality European sized duvet covers (I've never been keen on ikea bedding).

We’re in the Netherlands and order our bedding from M&S online. UK sizing, great quality and good prices. No physical stores anymore 😭😭😭 but their online service is great.

Yeah it’s fine. We have the ikea king size malm in our guest bedroom with Next king sized bedding.
I used to live in France and you’re right, the bedding is so expensive there!

I'd put UK Super King on a 160 cm bed.

I like Italian brands Bassetti (good cotton in oriental style prints are their Grand Foulard range) Mirabella (flowery cotton satin) or Bossi ( woven cotton tartan). All €€ but last well.

I see all 3 are available on Amazon, but it's Mirabello, not ....a.

Thanks everyone. Dh wants to buy an ikea duvet too in eu King size (240x220) but this is going to be a real headache finding sheets to fit that have UK size pillow cases isn't it?!

I think you can buy duvet covers separately from pillows. I would also think that a king size duvet would be plenty big enough. I think they are 220 or even 225 wide.
