What colour curtains?

We have painted our living room vintage denim. I need ideas on what colour curtains. I don't want light coloured ones like stone cream white ECT due to having 2 young dcs. So what colour would people suggest. I have attached a picture of the colour but it's not our room as we still need to second coat it.

I like the sound of mustard yellow. Definitely a statement.

There is a blue and mustardy rug in IKEA.
