What colour shall I paint these?

Spontaneous ebay purchase! There are 4 of them.

Depends on your decor really, I've seen pictures of similar chairs all painted a different pastel colour in beach house kitchens or different bright colours such as F&B Vardo in a more boho theme. You could paint them all the same. F&B Dorset cream would make them nice and sunny for a kitchen.

I think I’d also paint them cream with a chalk paint but not distress them. Will look great and very easy.

Dorset cream is pale yellow yes darker blue would work, try searching for painted chairs on pinterest or e-bay. It'll give you ideas.
