Cost to remove internal arches?

I'm buying a house and there are arches either side of the chimney breast in the lounge and an arch between the lounge and the 'dining area'.

What would be a reasonable costs to remove and square these off including the plastering?

Your best bet would be to get three tradespeople in to get quotes. You will need to redecorate throughout and I will depend on state of walls, ceilings etc. It costs nothing to get quotes.

@wheresmyphone not bossy at all. I'm not in the house yet so hard to get quotes.... just trying to gauge my future outlays as we'll be eating spaghetti for a month after moving as it is :-D
