Baby boy room ideas!?

So he's not that much of a baby anymore he's 9 months old. But we are finally getting him his own room sorted!!

It's a smallish room but with good natural light. I want something bright and fun.

Toyed with ideas of:
Space
Circus
Pirates

Themes but not sure. I also don't really like 'blue for boys'.

Any ideas?

Jungle in greens?
Robots- all sorts of colours
Moomins- like a forest
Lego- any primary colour

For DS we did bright yellow with jungle animal stickers and cream coloured jungle curtains. We've also used that room for DD as a baby and she loved it too. Now he's a bit older, we did pale yellow and blue walls (2 in each colour - his choice) with dinosaur stickers from Etsy and dinosaur curtains, etc.

I used to Google ideas from American sites. lion king theme was always my fav.

My DS has a nautical theme- helped along by a lifeboat crew father who has a boat! We also live on the coast, so it's a natural choice. Walls are beige with navy, white and beige stripe curtains and dark wood furniture - and lots of nautical accessories.
