wax/oil/stain for sanded floorboards

Just sanded our floor boards, they are pine and not perfectly sanded so some darker patches. I want to treat them so that they are a dark matt finish rather than a lighter colour and I definitely don't want a shine finish. Can anyone recommend a dark wax/oil/stain?

You need Osmo Polyx oil. Did our Georgian floorboards eight years ago and haven’t had to do anything since.

Halfway between varnish and wax, really great

thanks - just had a look at osmo website, did you use the clear matt oil or a coloured oil?

Pretty sure it was clear. Get samples maybe? You an also get a liquid to add to hot water to meainyaim it - must buy some, we’ve just been mopping.

Never regretted it and whole house is boards
