What's a nice grey to paint a pine bathroom vanity unit?

Would love some suggestions - we have an ugly pine vanity unit that needs sprucing up. I'd like to paint it grey. Can any of you recommend a nice colour and also type of paint that will be hardwearing against splashes of water and can withstand grime from my kids and the resulting daily cleaning?

Thank you!

I have recently used a satin paint from Aldi of all places. It's a really warm lovely grey and appears hardwearing.

I painted a hideous old pine chest of drawers with grey chalk paint and then clear wax. The paint was from Homebase and really easy to use. It looks lovely and with the wax coat it would be splash proof. I got some china knobs for the drawers, all different patterns in grey and white.
