I really want a four poster bed, have for ages. We now have a period house with a big master bedroom that can definitely take a bed of that size.
I love Lombok beds but can't afford to spend that kind of money. I've seen a few second hand Lombok four posters turn up on eBay within our price range (£300-500). I wondered if anyone could attest to the quality of them, will they be alright second hand? I know being expensive in the first place doesn't necessarily mean quality!
But I am inclined to go second hand quality rather than new in our price range (maisons du monde? But I've heard bad things about their quality?)
