Wall colour with cashmere kitchen

We're having a new kitchen fitted - cashmere gloss units with sandstone quartz worktop. But I'm rubbish with colours an have no idea what colour to paint the walls.

I've been thinking along the lines of duck egg or green but don't know if this will be overpowering as we're having no wall units. On the other hand I thought cream would be boring with cashmere units. Any suggestions?

What colour are the units?

A sort of creamy beige colour - I think the colour is called cashmere

Overtly olive from dulux would look nice. Or if you prefer more neutral colour fresh linen from homebase is lovely.

Really depends on your room, light, furniture, accessories. But a friend has PBW and it works very well. Nice, fresh, and nothing garish.

Thanks, I've just picked up a tester of overtly olive so will check it out.

Kitchen is south facing so does get a lot of light. Not sure what you mean by PBW user1495?

I'd try a pearly cream colour Smile

But then most of my home is cream and neutral !

Sorry OP, Pure Brilliant White.

What's the floor? If it's wood or something providing a contrast then I would go for something similar to the units. If the floor is also cream/beige in colour I would go for a colour as others have suggested to avoid looking too bland.
