Pink spotty carpet- Would you? Pic included

I love this carpet and surprisingly DH hasn't objected either. We'd have it as a runner up the stairs, on the landing and possibly in the lounge too.

Should I go with what I love or choose a more neutral colour that won't date in a few years.

TIA

I think in every home you have to go with your heart now and again.

TeamRick · 06/09/2017 23:56

I really like it!

Seeingadistance · 07/09/2017 01:02

It's lovely!

SerfTerf · 07/09/2017 01:06

I think it IS fairly neutral, or at least very muted.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 07/09/2017 01:10

Sounds awful.
Looks nice!

fleshmarketclose · 07/09/2017 01:18

I clicked thinking it would be hideous but it's not at all. I might not buy it myself but if I moved into a house and it was already there I wouldn't rush to replace it. Go for it OP.

Smitff · 07/09/2017 01:29

I'd use it in small quantities personally - up the stairs and on the landing only, if it's a small landing. Only use in a larger space like living room if you have a marginally smaller rug to put on top Smile

It's not as bad as it sounds, but it does look a bit John Lewis/KathKidston c.2008...

AlrightBabby · 07/09/2017 02:17

I like it, I'd put it in my house!

WanderingTrolley1 · 07/09/2017 02:23

Nice carpet.

Yellowfairy · 07/09/2017 10:53

Thanks everyone, I was having a wobble but I think you've convinced me to go ahead and order it...Grin

No where near as bad as I was imagining from the description. I quite like it but would probably stick to just stairs and hall - I think it might be a bit much in a room with lots of other stuff in.

Polkadot1974 · 07/09/2017 13:27

For stairs lovely. Sounded awful!

Boatmistress17 · 07/09/2017 13:28

Let us know when it's down so we can call round for Brew and Cake....
In the kitchen obviously - not on the new carpet! Grin

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 07/09/2017 18:22

I missed that you were thinking of it for the lounge,
Yes to hall and stairs, not sure about lounge

Shockers · 07/09/2017 18:28

I wasn't prepared to like it, but I do! I'm not sure I would in a sitting room though.

2017SoFarSoGood · 07/09/2017 18:29

it is quite lovely. I had a pink carpet that every one insisted was white. Or beige. It was pink.

Finola1step · 07/09/2017 18:35

Really thought i would post "It's awful" but that carpet is rather lovely.

TheDailyWail · 07/09/2017 18:37

I've wanted this carpet for a few years now!

Kimlek · 08/09/2017 12:46

Like it for the hall & stairs but maybe a bit much for the lounge as well.
