Free standing baths

I'm planning my dream bathroom and would love a free standing bath- something like this. But... I can't really picture what it would look like from a practical point of view, where do you put all your 'stuff', shampoo, shower gel etc? I only have a shower at the moment but previously I would just have every day stuff on the edge of the bath close to hand. Do you have one and is it practical?

I bought this bamboo bath rack from Habitat, works well but DP hates it as it gets in the way of his knees

If you have space, I've seen quite a few pics of people with little free-standing stools next to their baths in the home mags.

Thanks I was worried about a rack across the bath spoiling the look but a little stool/table thing might work. We're stealing some space from an adjacent bedroom to make the bathroom bigger but I can't picture the space yet.

I have a bathroom sink drawer unit (IKEA) and the tall mirrored shallow cabinet - huge amounts of storage means everything is tucked out of sight and I've become religious about everything going away there and then which has been a miracle in itself as I love seeing the clean lines (and less crap to move when cleaning!!)
