Omersa leather pig

So....I've inherited a leather pig that I believe to be made by a company called Omersa.

Anyone know anything about this company or more importantly how I can restore the pig...... long shot I know but thought I'd check with MN wisdom.

I remember being a kid & loving these animals when we went to Liberty in Regent street, I know they definitely used to sell them but can't really help any more than that

Ooh- thank you! I need to remove the word 'baisy' that has been written in biro on the side- apparently done by a visiting child years ago....

I've tried to work out how old it is, not sure. I don't think it is recent but have no idea!

Did you ever find anything out? I am in the same
situation. Mine has an Omersa badge but no number (think 90 limited editions made in 1997 or something?). Looks identical to yours, minus the rebranding 😁

I did- it is from the 1990s. I contacted the company directly, sent some photos and they were really helpful. Just contact them and I am sure they will help.
