Bath advice?

Buying a house with a standard bath tub. I'm 5'7 and bathe with nearly 2yo (leggy) DD. We're already fighting for space in a standard bath where we are now. Considering saving up for a freestanding or roll top bath for the new house. Are these more generous size wise? New bathroom is a standard size so we can't have a corner tub.

Ime, rolltops are deeper but often not as long as regular baths. Again, ime, you need a larger space to have a freestanding bath so if you have a "standard-sized" bathroom, it may look odd. Does the bath slot into a space and is walled at both ends? If not, you can easily buy a 1850mm bath - so about 6 inches longer than normal - this Bette tub comes in that length.

Thanks lala The bath in the house is set between the walls. Will do some measuring when I get the keys and see if there's space for one that size Wine
