Hi we have ordered our carpet and Karndean flooring from a carpet shop a few days ago, who gave the impression we would have it all delivered and fitted by the end of next week. However... now they are saying their fitter probably can't fit until September 😤. Even more annoying is they weren't the cheapest but because they were so friendly and seemed to have good customer service and the fitting time they said was good we decided to go with them.
Sorry I know you didn't need all that info, just venting, plus I don't really want to have a roll of carpet laying around in our lounge for weeks waiting to be fitted.
Anyway just thinking we might be better organising our own carpet fitter but have no idea who to use.
Can anyone please recommend a carpet fitter in the East Surrey kind of area who will be happy just to fit and not supply, also who can lay Karndean flooring.
