Hate our new carpet!!!

Just come home to see the new carpet and I hate it 😖😖 I wanted a soft grey with a bit of a sheen. I think we've gone too thick, you can see every footprint and hoovering it makes it look awful!!!! I could actually cry we've had it across the whole of the upstairs and it cost a fortune. I'm so upset with myself.

Have you put the furniture back? That will make a difference. Live with it a few days and then, if you still don't like it, buy some rugs to break it up a bit.

Lie down and have a good tantrum about it - it will be nice and cosy down there!

Wait till it's been walked on a bit, it'll change and soften the colour.

Furnitures gone in. Left it a day. Hoovered it like crazy. Still hate it 😫 I'm such an idiot how have I got this so wrong?! I think I've gone too dark too so the lighter shine shows up too much. Basically a huge fail

I have hated our stairs and landing carpet since it was laid. I got used to it eventually but I will never like it. Give it time and you will stop thinking about it.

I was exactly the same with mine. The colour will fade and it will look less thick over time. I'm not crazy about ours but I don't hate it anymore.
