My 12 DD has asked if she can have her bedroom redecorated for he birthday. The bedroom is a small double fairly square ish room. V plain.

She has suggested these wall papers. I am hopeless at choosing and even worse and tying the whole thing together. Please help!!

What sort of bed has she got ? If it's wood you could paint that pale pink or grey .

5th one the blush geometric one (I believe youth of today would call that tumblr) then white walls, paper 1 or two walls and accessorise with rose gold and white

Think the first one is nice but she will prob grow out of it within a year or so

angelgirls · 03/08/2017 23:27

Or pale grey walls

The pale pink with small gold stars is beautiful. She has taste!
I would probably have cream paintwork then everything else in soft golds/neutrals...not necessarily matching but in keeping with the wallpaper. Maybe some lovely gold velvet curtains.
I've seen some nice rooms where they have matched black and white stripes with goods and pinks. Pinterest again. No links as on my phone and am old.

Angelgirls that is her favourite! What duvet , curtains etc would go with it?? All our duvet covers are white.

does she want all three ?if not. Then I would do three walls in the blue wallpaper.
The other one wall where her bed is either of the pink ones. White furnishing would be nice with it too with pastel coloured bedding and a few small cushions . Cute chandelier type of light from ceiling. Smile

Mizk- that is my favourite! I can just about manage the wall paper choice but the curtains are going to drive me mad..

Creme fresh - thank you for your ideas too.

I was wondering if it would be easier to simply chose everything from Peony and Sage? That way at least all the colours would compliment each other.

Yourat- no she wants one wall paper.
I think she wants me to find the blue background with white stars in pink rather than blue. I have found one by Peony and Sage.
I can see she wants a very 'classic ' almost French theme.
To be honest the rest of the house is similar!

Ojoj1974 I love white bedding, accessories with throws, cushions. Keep the duvet set white then have coloured sheet/bottom pillow etc

My teens would call this room/colours/wallpaper.... tumblr Grin
