Laminate floor and Grey Walls

We are doing a total redirection of our house. Stock photos are all very well but is love to see some 'real life' ones too.

Would anyone be willing to share:

• Pictures of good quality oak effect laminate flooring (obvs that you are happy with!)

• Pictures of walls painted in light (but not 'nearly white' grey, with white skirting.

And obviously the name of the flooring/paint that you used.

Eek redecoration not redirection! And sorry for the poor grammar...will teach me for looking out of the window for the next trade to come and quote while posting.

Instagram is fantastic for this sort of thing - looking inside real peoples homes, being able to ask what direction their rooms face - so get a better idea of whether it would work in your own home - and generally getting some great decor ideas. There are so many photos of homes with grey walls you will be spoilt for choice!

Have a look on Pinterest. My Lounge and dining room are being painted this colour as we speak so when I get home later this aft I can upload pics, flooring is okay colour but with some hues of grey in too, that will be laid later this week I think

We have this. Oak floor white skirting and 2 X Grey's. Dark is Scrooge's Nightmare and light is Moonstone by Valspar.i luffs it. A lot.

Finallyhere how did you find the cost of the quickstep compared to other laminates? Do you think it's worth the extra?

Oh, I'm twitching at having 'our' quickstep engineered wood compared to laminates.

They do a laminate, but we have their wide planks of engineered wood which rally are lovely. I chose it for the colour and finish (very pale wood, matt finish) and closed my eyes to the cost...

We don't have grey walls anymore but this is our flooring. It's Karndean American Oak

I have seen karndean (see PP's picture) looking great, too. Not exactly cheap, but good value.
