Looking for a long outdoor table..,.modern....wood ideally....solid, not with extensions, any ideas where could find one, say 4 metres long? Any ideas gratefully received!

I was going to say the Ikea Applaro but it has winged extensions:

Or join two together?!

I had this dilemma and bought two decorating tables (cheap) from B and Q and laid them end to end.

*I meant two joined with the wings down

At the risk of sounding very ungrateful am
Looking for something a tad more upmarket as it's a permanent solution. West Elm used to do somthing quite modern and funky and long but no more :(

We wanted some for our wedding and couldn't find them anywhere so made them out of some scaffolding planks. Sanded and oiled they looked great - and we sold all of them after the wedding!

Get in touch with a local chippy and ask him to make one to your design - it'll probably be cheaper than buying one and you can have exactly the size you want.

But am very grateful for those who have bothered to take the time to reply! Cake

See if a local carpenter can make you something suitable.

They do bespoke sizes.

We saw beautiful ones at falls of shin visitor centre - they had been made from lengths of wood without any joins - so the entire length of the table was one piece of wood x 3.
Looked fantastic and had benches to match. Made by local joiner I would imagine
