We've got a IKEA grey Friheten, corner sofa-bed with storage for the kids room, very happy with the use and features of bed and storage. As you can understand it is in kids room, I want some sort of protection but struggling to find washabe removable covers. I have checked few foreign companies as suggested in other posts but the price of the removeable covers are very much near to the price of the sofa. Please advice.

Could you get a seamstress to make them? I think I've got the same sofa - very square so it shouldn't be too hard

thanks, can you recommend anyone near to wolverhampton please?

Sorry I sew myself so I'd attempt my own but wouldn't know anyone to recommend. Good luck!

Are the current covers removable/washable? A good seamstress can take them, rip the seams (that's the stitching not the fabric!), use the current covers as a pattern, and sew them back together.

You would then have two sets of covers for the sofa.

I made covers this way for two IKEA Klippan sofas - got exactly the colour I wanted for about £30 (used cheap IKEA throws with a tiny bit of stretch in them, so the covers fit smoothly).
