Kitchen cupboards

Help please!

I don't like our kitchen, but it's fairly new (put in by previous owners) so can't really justify a new one. So.. I'm thinking of just painting the cupboard doors.

The floor is white tiles (not great but I think we are stuck with that for the moment), work surface a creamy off white colour. Current cabinets are black. What would work well? A light grey?

Any other tips? Will try and include a picture.

Speak to a local painter & see if they've painted similar before, or even a kitchen designer for ideas of what they could do

There are some really good paints about, the Wilko cupboard pain is meant to be brilliant

I think your kitchen is nice but think the floor and work top don't match being white and cream

Fablon is also popular for kitchen cupboards

If you haven't already seen there is a Facebook group called "diy on a budget" take a lot as you will get loads of ideas and advice, some of the projects on there are awful but seriously they do have some amazing cheap make overs
