B&Q kitchen vs SCHMIDT kitchen

Hi all,
We are hoping to have a new kitchen fitted (building a kitchen extension kinda last minute ready for impending babies) later this year.
We've done a fair bit of research, planned everything out, had quotes and designs from 5 companies and...we are stuck.

We have two options:

SCHMIDT comes with all the bells and whistles - soft close everything, non slip mats blah blah. Main thing is all the units are built in a factory so they are sturdier and more durable than flat packs.

B&Q have really good reviews, doors will be wood instead of chipboard, bells and whistles are additional costs but still comes in much cheaper.

Worktop, appliances, sink and taps we are going to source ourselves because we can make pretty big savings there but money is still an issue - we are leaning towards B&Q for price but want SCHMIDT quality...

Has anyone got any experience of either kitchen brand and feel like advising?

Only 5 companies ?!?! In this day and age you can shop around much better than that !!!
Keep looking until you discover the cabinets you love at the price that suits !

not had either kitchen because we are in the middle of planning ourselves but have you had a look at DIY kitchens? they are factory built and come with blum fittings, soft close is extra but not much to add on.

Yorkshire DIY kitchens looks like a nice site, but looks like it will come out comparable in price to SCHMIDT and WREN once we have all our units in. Love the range of unit sizes though. If we are going to pay that much it'd be for SCHMIDT because the showroom is not far and after care is great.
OnePlan I know we could have done more searching probably but we need to get an extension built and kitchen fitted before babies arrive so we just went for a spread across the market to represent different price and quality brackets. If you have any suggestions on companies we will have a look.
