What colour carpet to go with brown settees?

Hi we want to replace our tired laminate with carpet in the living room but not quite sure what colour to go for.
The (large) settees are chocolate brown faux suede
The walls are Dulux Jurassic Stone (pale greeny grey colour)
The furniture is oak
White wood blind
Silver metal light fitting and matching lamp
The fireplace is white painted brick (sounds weird but looks really nice.)
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would love cream but we have a dog 🐶 so not practical. I would love the colour scheme to be based around this vase, which is my favourite.
I also think a mid or dark brown carpet would make the room far too dark.
Would a shade of grey go with chocolate brown settees?

No way to grey carpet. In fact no carpet at all. Espesh with pets and kids...? You shall regret it. Change the flooring but forget about the carpet. In my house carpet is in bedrooms and the 1st lounge and stairs. No shoes allowed ever on carpeted floors. Incidently my carpets are deep pile and .... grey. I love them and they look so nice and that's the way i intend for them to stay. So no shoes. Plus they cost thousands!

Would a greenish colour go, I am looking a carpets at the moment and John Lewis have one in there special buy section called Balmoral 45 or 55 colour Alpina, I picked up a sample and it's sort of slightly greyish green. I have this dilemma now with carpet colours and have chosen a speckled mid brown, mainly so it doesn't show drips of tea and coffee much but the brown though practical is a bit boring. The brown I chose was called katinka in the same make. I am so indecisive in all this though and do like the greenish one as it's a bit different

Oh just seen your walls are similar to the carpet I suggested, maybe too much of a good thing

@LightastheBreeze thanks that's a good suggestion but think will then make the room too green rather than fairly neutral, the brown you have chosen is lovely. I'd love a kind of beigey cream but would need to be completely stain resistant because of our pooch!
