What colour to paint kitchen?

The units are white gloss and the floor and worktops are both dark grey. Currently the walls are Dulux Just Walnut which is a pale grey. I hate it as it's all so bleurgh and cold looking.
I've finally persuaded DH to go for something else other than grey on the walls but am unsure what?

Online white gloss kitchens all seem to have white or grey walls. Our kitchen is fairly big but can be quite dark in the afternoons. It currently looks very cold and bare.

You could go for a nice shade of pale blue, although maybe still a cold colour will look great with white and grey and inject a bit of colour.

Alternatively go for a really warm colour like coral or something - think Le Creuset / the original orangey colour - that would look lovely with grey and white.

What about a light green colour ? There is some beautiful shades that are warm and welcoming that can compliment the white and grey scheme. Grab some testers and try them on the walls and see how they work.

We've gone with green feature wall and then yellow and grey accent. White walls. I love it.

A soft green could work actually.

I did think of blue but quite a lot of the rest of the house is varying shades of blue and I thought it might be a bit much.
